Cancellation Policies:

Customer Cancellations

• Up to 10 days before: 80% refund of the total amount or rescheduling without charge.
• From 9 days to 2 days before: 50% refund of the total amount or rescheduling with a 30% fee of the total amount, subject to availability.
• 48 hours before: No refunds or date changes.
• The time and meeting point will be confirmed at booking. If the passenger is late, North Sea is not responsible for missing the tour or any extra costs for the passenger to reach the Itabaca Channel. We can wait up to 45 minutes at the Itabaca Channel from the scheduled time at the Puerto Ayora meeting point.

North Sea Cancellations

Due to adverse weather or safety conditions: If the service must be canceled for safety reasons (e.g., extreme weather, dangerous sea conditions, protests, road closures) or decisions by competent authorities (Galápagos National Park or Marina), we will offer the customer: tour rescheduling to another available date or time at no cost, or a 70% refund of the amount paid.

Important Note

• North Sea assumes that the passenger is in good general health and is aware of the physical demands, techniques, altitude and weather variations, as well as the risks involved in each activity such as kayaking, paddleboarding, and snorkeling.
• North Sea recommends that the passenger(s) have life insurance that covers material damages, accidents, delays, and loss of life.
• North Sea does not provide any type of travel insurance with its programs. The costs of the programs offered by North Sea do not include coverage for accidents or events beyond our control.
• The Service Voucher is the only guarantee for the activities agreed upon between North Sea and its passengers. Any service not specified in the Service Voucher will not be included in the tour and will be the responsibility of the passenger or their travel agency to cover those extra expenses.
• North Sea is not responsible for any lost or forgotten items, nor for electronic devices that may be damaged by water contact during any of the activities.
